$1.29064 billion.

acceptance of the LGBTQ+ community and the growing interest of women. Gays, lesbians and bisexuals

 spend 13.4 percent more on sex products each year than heterosexuals.


Sex toys are sold online and in physical stores, but online sales have soared over the past decade as 

e-commerce businesses have grown. By 2021, 63% of sex toys will be sold through e-commerce 

platforms and online retailers. According to the report, consumers prefer the comfort and privacy of 

buying sex toys online, which promotes the global growth of online platforms, in addition, the 

convenience of e-commerce for regular purchase of sex toys will also boost growth.


Sex toys are becoming more common and this increased exposure will have a positive impact on

 industry growth in the coming years.


The majority of sex toys sold are designed for women, and sales of female sex toys are expected to

 grow at a compound annual growth rate of 7.9 percent and are expected to account for a considerable

 amount of revenue in the future. Women buy 69 percent of the world's sex toys, and couples are 

increasingly buying products like vibrators to add excitement to their intimate relationships.

The popularity of sex toys is soaring, and the North American market is one of the core drivers of its

more than one. Vibrators are the most popular sex toy in the U.S., with about 47 percent of 

respondents owning one.


Eighty-two percent of American women own at least one sex toy, a slightly higher percentage than 

male respondents. Sex toy ownership is most prevalent among people aged 25 to 29. The percentage 

of people aged 40 to 44 who own sex toys is about the same.


So how much do Americans spend on sex toys?


Fifty percent of respondents, including 54 percent of men and 45 percent of women, said their sex toys 

cost less than $20.


34% of respondents (31% of men and 37% of women) spent between $20 and $50.


Slightly more than 13 percent (12 percent of men and 14 percent of women) purchased adult toys 

priced between $50 and $100; Three percent said they spent more than $100.


According to sex toy retailer Lovehoney, the city that bought the most sex toys was Elizabeth, New 

Jersey, where purchases of sex toys and accessories increased 500% during the lockdown. Providence, 

Rhode Island, rose 482 percent, and Moreno Valley, California, rose 452 percent, ranking second and 

third, respectively.


In addition, there are some factual data about the national consumption of adult products, such 

as :44.2 percent of people buy fetishes every year; Single people spend 3.5 percent less on sex 

products each year than single people, and 22.3 percent don't buy lubricants or other sexual care 

products. 30.9 percent spend less than $50 a year on sex toys; 41.9% spent $0 per year on 

contraception.
